CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Video shows pedestrian hit by a truck entering Portland ICE facility

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A person was hit by a truck while protesting outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland on Wednesday.

The demonstrator, who has not yet been identified, was standing outside the building while holding a sign around 2:30 p.m. when a black truck sounded its horn and turned to enter the driveway.

Security footage obtained by KOIN 6 News shows the demonstrator standing on the sidewalk near the right side of the driveway when the truck appears to clip the person on its passenger side and send their sign flying into the air.

The demonstrator falls to the ground, screaming in agony, before getting up and walking away. They continued to scream, hunched over, while walking down the sidewalk, until they fell to the ground…
