BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Kohler Pool has been a gathering place for generations of people in the city of Tonawanda, and community members have been working to save the aging and deteriorating pool from closing for good. Now, with a check from New York State, its future is looking brighter.
“Given that it could be facing extinction, we had to make some major investments right now,” Gov. Kathy Hochul said Friday while visiting the city.
