KPS holds ribbon cutting ceremony at new central kitchen

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Schools have snipped the ribbon on their newest facility, their new central kitchen, built at the site of the former Chime Elementary School in Oshtemo Township.

The district provides 6,500 breakfasts, 9,000 lunches, 400 dinners, and afternoon snacks every weekday. They also provide Head Start meals, food for KRESA operations and other organizations.
