EAST LANSING – A dream softball season for the Evart Wildcats ended Friday in the Division 3 state semifinals against Grass Lake, and it came down to the very last play.
A force out at second base on a very close call in the bottom of the seventh inning ended the game in Grass Lake’s favor, 3-2, at Michigan State University’s Secchia Stadium.
