SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Following a pattern of criminal activity and numerous responses from law enforcement, a home described as a “nuisance” in Shelbyville has been padlocked by law enforcement.
An joint investigation involving several agencies—including the 17th Judicial Drug Task Force, Shelbyville Police Department, and the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office—reportedly revealed that recurring criminal activity occurred at a home in 800 block of Brookhaven Circle.
According to officials, the criminal activity included, but was not limited to, possession and distribution of controlled substances, domestic disturbances, breaches of the peace and other incidents requiring repeated law enforcement intervention.
“These repeated incidents demonstrate that the property is being used in a manner that endangers the safety and welfare of the surrounding community and constitutes a Public Nuisance under the laws of the State of Tennessee,” stated the SPD in a social media post…
