The world’s largest operating steam locomotive is coming to the Philadelphia area!
Union Pacific’s Big Boy No. 4014 is making a journey to the East Coast for the first time, in what the company says is a historic coast-to-coast tour to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
The tour includes several stops in Pennsylvania, including in Philadelphia, for a Fourth of July celebration.
As part of a fundraiser for the tour, some fans will get a chance to ride in vintage passenger cars pulled by Big Boy through the Poconos Mountains this weekend. The sold-out event is the only passenger excursion of the tour…
