BATON ROUGE, La. (KNOE) – Louisiana State Police (LSP) has 43 new troopers following the graduation of Cadet Class 108 on Friday in Baton Rouge.
The cadets from across the state started their 23-week training Jan. 4, 2026, at the LSP Training Academy. Louisiana State Police said cadets received comprehensive instruction during the training in areas such as crash investigation, emergency vehicle operations, impaired driving detection, fair and impartial policing, legal updates, advanced firearms training, leadership skills and a rigorous physical training regimen.
