City leaders and developers gathered Friday to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Raspberry Townhomes development in Anchorage, a project expected to add 58 new market-rate rental units to the Sand Lake neighborhood.
Mayor Suzanne LaFrance said increasing the city’s housing supply is essential to supporting Anchorage’s economy and workforce.
