A Boston man currently serving a prison sentence for drugging to rape a person has been sentenced in a separate case where he threw a woman’s dead body in a trash bag and left it at a park.
Rinneyrs Pena, 47, was previously found guilty in connection with the death of 38-year-old Alenny Matos, of Dorchester, who had been missing since at least Jan. 27, 2020. Her body was found in May of that year inside a trash bag by a woman walking her dog on Enneking Parkway in Hyde Park.
On Friday, he was sentenced by Suffolk County Superior Court Judge Mary Ames to three years in state prison, to be served concurrently with the 17- to 20-year prison sentence he is currently serving…
