KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a shooting on North Broadway that left a man in critical condition early Saturday morning.
KPD said officers responded to the VIP Lounge in the 2300 block of North Broadway just before 4 a.m. There, officers found a person suffering from at least one gunshot on the sidewalk near the entrance of the club.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, was taken to UT Medical Center. Knoxville Police said at 7 a.m. Saturday, the victim was in critical but stable condition.
KPD said the responding officers detained and questioned multiple potential witnesses at the scene, but the circumstances leading to and surrounding the shooting remain unclear. No suspect has been arrested or charged…
