WLRN, South Florida’s home for National Public Radio programming, has expanded its reach into Palm Beach County following a monthslong legal dispute between its management company and the Miami-Dade County School Board.
The station began broadcasting its content on the newly named WPBB, 104.7 FM, on June 7, increasing its listener area into northern and western Palm Beach County and even parts of Martin County.
The Miami-based station’s signal has long been spotty beyond West Palm Beach, with fans of “Morning Edition, “All Things Considered” and other NPR programs left to tune in over computers and other digital devices…
