NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Next week, all tenants at The Willows apartments in New Orleans East must move out. The change comes four years after our FOX 8 Defenders reports first exposed the deplorable living conditions at the complex. At the time, it was owned by a religious nonprofit. Now, the new owners say they are committed to cleaning up the property.
There are few signs of life at The Willows these days, with only a handful of tenants left packing up.
