More than 10,000 customers remain without power across DMV after severe storms

WASHINGTON (7News) — Thousands of customers across the DMV remain without power Saturday morning as utility crews continue working to restore service following severe thunderstorms that swept through the region.

As of June 13, Dominion Energy reported the largest number of outages, with more than 10,500 customers still without electricity across Northern Virginia.

According to Dominion Energy’s outage map, as of 8:01 a.m. Saturday, there were:

  • 10,574 customers without power
  • 296 active outage projects
