The legislative session may be over, but many of the challenges facing Oregon communities remain very much on the agenda.
From wildfire preparedness and drought response to housing affordability, healthcare costs, transportation spending, education performance, and government accountability, lawmakers will spend three days in Salem next week examining some of the issues that continue to affect residents across the state.
Legislative Days, scheduled for June 15 through June 17 at the Oregon Capitol, will bring lawmakers together for a series of committee hearings designed to review state programs, monitor implementation of recently enacted legislation, receive updates from agency leaders, and evaluate how public investments are performing.
