Tuesday brought thick smoke and haze into the metro area from wildfires burning on the east side of the state. An Air Quality Advisory issued Tuesday is still in effect. It’s likely to continue into Wednesday night, but you can look for the smoke to thin out Thursday, improving conditions.
High temperatures will be a guessing game as thick smoke will hold temperatures below earlier projections. Portland high temps reached 90 degrees on Tuesday, and could get up to the low to mid 90s Wednesday.
