POST FALLS, Idaho – A woman was found dead from suspected homicide in her home on Friday night.
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office shared the information about the suspected homicide and said it started with a welfare check request at 7:15 p.m. on June 12.
The request said the elderly female resident living at a home in the 2900 block of E. Hope Ave. had not been seen in several days. Family members of the woman gave officers with keys to the residence and permission to enter for the welfare check, the sheriff’s office said…
