Crews respond to hazmat incident outside Grand Rapids

BLENDON TWP., MI – Emergency responders temporarily closed a road outside of Grand Rapids for a hazardous materials incident.

Blendon Township firefighters were on scene of a hazmat incident around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 13, Ottawa County Emergency Management said on social media. The incident closed Tyler Street between 64th Avenue and 72nd Avenue in Blendon Township.

“At this time, there is no danger to the public, and we do not anticipate any impact beyond the immediate incident area,” officials said…
