MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – Soon Murfreesboro will have a new Kroger, Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland said during a Facebook Live.
The new store will be built on the vacant land on Memorial Boulevard across from the State Farm building.
While the city already has a store about a mile away near Iron Gate, McFarland said Kroger officials told the city the grocery store model has changed and that they realistically can’t renovate while keeping it open, so they instead wanted to build a larger, newer store to serve the area…
