When most people think of private planes, they think of luxury, wealth and a lifestyle that feels out of reach. But Kayleen Morrow tells PEOPLE that she and her husband, Jeremy, were able to buy their own small aircraft thanks to years of budgeting and financial tradeoffs.
The couple frequently travels by plane with their two children and dogs. However, as questions about the cost of their lifestyle continue to appear online, Kayleen is eager to challenge what she considers to be one of the biggest misconceptions about private aviation.
“You do not have to be rich to own a plane,” the 36-year-old tells PEOPLE exclusively. “We work really hard and sacrifice in other areas of our lives so that we can continue this hobby.”…
