Over the past 66 years, the view from LeMont has changed far more than the restaurant itself.
Inside the “sandwich” — that’s how general manager Marco Corona described the “double-decker” restaurant and banquet hall wedged into a Mount Washington cliffside — little seems to have shifted. Earlier this month, LeMont marked 66 years since opening in the former Grandview movie theater space. But largely, you’ll find the same Art Deco furnishings and mirrored bar, along with Italian crystal chandeliers, plates of rack of lamb and the restaurant’s continental cuisine.
