Ironman 70.3 rolls through Rockton on Sunday, with downtown shops and Summerpalooza ready to welcome crowds

Rockton will be buzzing long before the first cyclists sweep down Main Street on Sunday morning, as the Ironman 70.3 returns through Rockton with a bike route that cuts straight through the heart of our village. With racers expected on June 14, 2026 between 9:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., many downtown businesses are adjusting hours, offering specials, and preparing for one of the most energetic days of the summer.

The Village of Rockton is pairing the race with its first Summerpalooza – Health & Wellness Block Party, running 2–7 p.m. in downtown Rockton. The event is designed to keep families in town after the race, with kids’ activities, music, and hands‑on attractions.

“We want people cheering on the athletes in the morning and staying to celebrate Rockton in the afternoon,” Monique Weaver, the village’s Community Promotions Coordinator stated . “It’s a full‑day experience—fitness, family, and community.”
