Pasta sauce recalled in 41 states due to potential salmonella contamination

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Food and Drug Administration issued a recall for pasta sauce sold in 41 states because it may be contaminated with salmonella.

According to a recall enforcement report, alfredo sauce manufactured by The Coffee Connexion Co. was recalled because it contains milk powder included in a prior recall that may be contaminated with salmonella.

The recall was listed as a Class I recall, meaning ” a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.”…
