Construction is underway on Wapsi Avenue north of Lone Tree. The construction runs from the intersection of Highway 22 and Wapsi Avenue north to 520th Street in rural Johnson County. According to Johnson County Secondary Roads, the roadway is generally open during construction, but traffic has been reduced to one lane during working hours using flaggers and pilot cars. The construction has created bumps in the road in the intersection.
