The NonStop Local weather team has called a WEATHER ALERT beginning Sunday evening through Tuesday evening.
SPOKANE, Wash. – A Fire Weather Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for the Spokane area and surrounding regions, beginning Sunday at 10:51 a.m. through Tuesday at 11:00 p.m.
The affected areas, according to NWS are:
- Okanogan Valley (Zone 703)
- Methow Valley (Zone 704)
- Foothills of Central Washington Cascades (Zone 705)
- Waterville Plateau (Zone 706)
- Western Columbia Basin (Zone 707)
- Eastern Columbia Basin—Palouse—Spokane area (Zone 708)
- Lower Palouse—Snake River (Zone 709).
