2 hurt in westbound highway crash near Lexington: Lanes reopened

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Westbound lanes of I-64 were blocked on Monday morning following a crash in the area.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet issued an alert around 8:30 a.m. on June 15 indicating that a crash had blocked all westbound traffic near the 70-mile marker.

Authorities did not set an estimate for how long the lanes would remain closed.

Around 9:20 a.m. on Monday, officials with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office told FOX 56 News that two vehicles were involved in the crash. Both drivers were taken to UK Hospital with minor injuries…
