AAA: Gas prices fall amid news of US-Iran agreement

Drivers can expect to see more relief at the pump this week due as the national average for gasoline continues on a three-week slide. The downward trend is coinciding with the news of a breakthrough agreement between the U.S. and Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a key waterway for the movement of oil through the Middle East.

According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular gas is $4.07, down 9 cents from last Monday.
