LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The woman who died after a crash on Highway 77 in southwest Lincoln on Friday was identified as Jayme Karash.
The crash report released by the Lincoln Police Department provided new details about what led to the crash at the intersection of Highway 77 and Warlick Boulevard at 9:45 a.m.
A preliminary investigation determined that a semi was traveling north on Highway 77 through a green light when a southbound sedan turned left in front of the truck. Both vehicles collided and ended up in a ditch.
Karash, who was driving the sedan, was taken to the hospital, where she later died, police said. The driver of the semi was uninjured…
