KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The FIFA Fan Festival Kansas City reopened Sunday with a special twist after severe weather forced an early shutdown the day before.
The festival hosted its first Dog Day, allowing fans to bring their pets to the World Cup celebration. In partnership with Purina, Kansas City is being recognized as the most pet-friendly FIFA World Cup host city.
Dogs attending the event received treats, water bowls and customizable World Cup jerseys while supplies lasted.
