DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A Utah man has been arrested for allegedly slashing his roommate’s arm with a knife, stealing his car, and threatening him with a screwdriver.
Aaron Ventura, 23, has been arrested on two counts of aggravated assault (third-degree felony), one count of aggravated robbery (first-degree felony), and one count of unauthorized control for extended time (Class A misdemeanor).

According to court documents, on June 14, Ventura asked to borrow his roommate’s vehicle. The roommate refused and an argument ensued, during which Ventura slashed the victim’s arm with a knife and demanded the keys to the vehicle. The roommate handed over the keys out of fear, and Ventura left with the vehicle.
When Ventura arrived home, the two males got into a second argument. The roommate claimed that he asked for the keys to his car back, but Ventura said that he did not have them. He then picked up a screwdriver and held it to the victim’s neck…
