EUGENE, Ore. — Motorists in Eugene should expect significant traffic delays Monday as the University of Oregon’s commencement ceremony draws tens of thousands of visitors to the Autzen Stadium area, according to local authorities.
The graduation ceremony is expected to attract as many as 30,000 people, creating heavy traffic between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Coburg Road and surrounding areas near the university campus.
