South Carolina woman pleads guilty, sentenced for money laundering

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A Saluda, South Carolina, woman pleaded guilty and was sentenced to over two years in federal prison for money laundering, a spokesperson said Monday for the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of Georgia.

Laura Frantz, 62, was sentenced to 27 months in prison and ordered to pay $138,673 in restitution.
