BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Proposition 36 sentencing enhancements leave a Kern County man facing decades in prison after a jury found him guilty of possessing 10 pounds of fentanyl and more than 40 pounds of methamphetamine, prosecutors said.
Ruben Gutierrez-Garcia was found guilty last week of five counts of drug possession for sales and maintaining a residence for drug sales, according to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.
