Drivers in Walker and Catoosa counties are seeing some of the lowest gas prices in Georgia as fuel costs continue to decline statewide, according to the latest report from AAA – The Auto Club Group.
The Catoosa-Walker market is currently averaging $3.57 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, making it the least expensive metro market in Georgia. Dalton was the next lowest at $3.61 per gallon, followed by Brunswick at $3.63.
The lower prices come as Georgia motorists continue to receive relief at the pump. The statewide average price for regular gasoline has dropped 8 cents over the past week and 25 cents over the past month.
