Four arrested after Douglas County apartment search yields drugs, stolen items

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) – Four men were arrested after the search of an apartment in Douglas County yielded firearms, drugs, counterfeit money, shoplifted goods, and a stolen dirt bike and scooter.

According to a release from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the DCSO SWAT team, along with deputies from other units, served a search warrant at an apartment near 207th and Q streets around 7 a.m. on Friday.

The warrant came from three different investigations:

  • An assault at a gas station near 204th and George B. Lake Parkway on June 9
  • The theft of a gas-powered dirt bike at the same gas station on June 9
  • An armed disturbance between the victim of the theft and the suspects of the theft on June 10

The search of the apartment yielded the stolen dirt bike, a stolen scooter, stolen debit cards, fake currency, shoplifted merchandise, methamphetamine, and marijuana…
