LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – After finding herself in a three way tie after round 1 at the Donna Andrews Invitational tournament, Kathryn Ha turned up the pressure on the competition.
The Salem alum and former Scott Robertson Memorial champion now holds the outright lead at 6-under par, holding a one stroke lead over Wake Forest golfer Sarah Lydic (-5).
Ha, Lydic, and Megan Meng all sat at -5 after Sunday’s first round. Ha and Lydic both came out strong on the front 9, with Ha getting birdie on holes one and five, but bogeying nine, seeing her still tied with Lydic.
