Smiley says fire truck lawsuit due to city ‘paying more to wait longer’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The city of Providence has filed a federal anti-trust lawsuit against top manufacturers of fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.

Mayor Brett Smiley says the current situation means the city is being forced to pay more and wait longer.
