The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 6 Texas Longhorns face off in a College World Series elimination game. Georgia and Texas met on Saturday with the Bulldogs winning 7-1 behind an elite pitching performance from starter Joey Volchko.
On Monday, Georgia lost to the Oklahoma Sooners, 4-3. The Sooners are off to a 2-0 start to Bracket 2 and are one win away from advancing to the national championship series. Whoever wins the Georgia-Texas elimination game will have to beat Oklahoma twice to advance to the national championship series.
