POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 6:11pm on June 12th after reports of an assault at a playground on Niagara Street in Niagara Falls.
The 911 caller and mother of the victim told police that a male threw a lit cigarette at her 2-year-old child’s face. The cigarette’s ember exploded upon hitting the child’s face causing a burn.
Police responded to the scene. It is unknown if the police were able to locate the suspect and arrest him. No further information is available at this time…
