Greensboro retailer closing business, owners retiring

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Priba Furniture here is closing after 54 years in business as owners Scott and Kim Knox retire.

“It’s a retirement. I’ve been doing this since I was 13 years old, and it’s time to do something different,” Scott Knox told Furniture Today.

The Greensboro, N.C.-based upper-end retailer was founded in 1972 by Bob and Priscilla Knox and has been in its 55,000-square-foot showroom at 210 Stagecoach Trail since 1989. Both Bob and Priscilla Knox passed away this year; Bob on March 7 and Priscilla on June 8…
