Man tried to smuggle pounds of weed, smart sunglasses into Alabama prison with drone, ADOC says

A 36-year-old Georgia man is accused of using a drone to try to smuggle drugs, cell phones and smart sunglasses into an Alabama prison.

David Anderson, of Jonesboro, is charged with conspiracy to promote prison contraband, Alabama Department of Corrections officials announced Tuesday.
