MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The City of Montgomery has demolished the former Paterson Elementary School to make way for a new health center.
The school, which had been built in the 1950s, closed after the 2008-2009 school year and has been vacant and deteriorating ever since.
The site at 1015 East Jefferson Street is behind the Montgomery City Court building just off of Madison Avenue. It will become the new home of Premise Health Center for city employees and their families…
