SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A man has been charged with hate crimes in connection to homophobic criminal threats allegedly made at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital earlier this year. Solomon Kahiviano Casperson, 52, has been charged in two separate incidents at the hospital, according to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
The first of the incidents, according to court documents, occurred on April 4. Casperson allegedly got verbally abusive with a healthcare worker at the hospital. The worker then asked another healthcare worker for assistance. That worker told Casperson to wait in the waiting room.

Casperson allegedly refused, while using a homophobic slur multiple times, saying he did not like gay people, and threatening to follow the worker to his car and kill him. In a second incident on June 8, Casperson allegedly returned to the hospital and threatened to kill the victim while using homophobic slurs.
