Located in Solvang—a city in Santa Barbara often referred to as the “Danish Capital of America”—the home’s connection to Parton was unknown for many years.
The New York Post reports that property records and building permits revealed that Dolly Parton Enterprises had pulled permits at one point to make improvements to the home, thus revealing Parton as the owner. “The recorded deed shows Todd Gelfand as the trustee of The 561 Alisal Road Trust.
