Clay, N.Y. – The developer of a 103-room extended-stay hotel planned for a site near Wegmans on Route 31 has applied for tax breaks for the the project.
Clay Hospitality LLC has applied to the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency for $1.7 million in tax exemptions for the planned Home2 Suites by Hilton.
The exemptions would consist of $832,391 in property taxes over 10 years, $800,000 in sales taxes abatements on construction materials and a $96,747 exemption from the state mortgage recording tax…
