Tenant accuses Baton Rouge apartment complex of neglecting to address falling roof, mold

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge apartment complex is receiving criticism from a tenant who accuses management of neglecting to address a falling roof, mold and general problems in her unit. The complex is one that prompted a city council member to push for stronger local codes to hold property managers accountable.

Rachel Thomas said she fears becoming homeless for exposing the problems in her Spanish Arms Apartment unit. The complex is located on Denham Street in Baton Rouge.
