SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The Missouri Department of Transportation has lowered the weight limit on the U.S. 65 bridge at the Chestnut Expressway overpass in Springfield.
Following a recent inspection, MoDOT workers determined the bridge’s weight limit should be lowered from 60 to 40 tons. The new weight limit recently went into effect.
