TULSA, Okla. — A former Tulsa Police major who won a lawsuit against the Tulsa Police Department is now at the center of a new legal dispute as her attorneys argue a judge significantly reduced the amount of attorney fees they should receive after securing a favorable jury verdict.

In 2024, a Tulsa County jury awarded former Tulsa Police Major Tracie Lewis $569,000 after ruling in her favor in a lawsuit against the City of Tulsa.
