CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) — Potential Tropical Cyclone One has formed along the Gulf Coast and is expected to bring widespread heavy rain and flooding to parts of the Deep South over the next couple of days, according to NOAA.
While the storm system is forecast to produce significant rainfall across portions of the Gulf Coast region, the heaviest rain currently appears likely to remain southwest of the Charlotte area.
