HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A downtown High Point historic building is a step closer to opening its doors again after more than a decade of vacancy.
City leaders and Richmond, Virginia-based developer firm, LBD Investments, celebrated the official construction of Elwood on Main on Tuesday morning.
The project will bring 143 apartments and two commercial spaces to the Showplace West building near the intersection of East High Avenue and South Main Street.
