NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – On Monday night, the parks commission unanimously approved for the city attorney and Burns Park staff to work with St. Joseph’s to get a proposed lease together to be considered by the parks commission for turning the old RV Campgrounds at Burns park to be turned into an educational farm and garden.
Once they figure that out, the North Little Rock City Council could vote to approve that lease agreement. Arkansas State Parks and the National Park Service would also have to give consent. If all this happened, then St. Joseph’s and park staff can work on creating the farm and garden itself.
